Linda Branagan, Ph.D.
Dr. Branagan's commercial clients have included the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, the University of Miami Telehealth Program, the Ontario Telemedicine Network, the California State Prison System, and The Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. In parallel, her ongoing academic work resulted recently in a doctoral thesis which shed interesting light on the role of physician champions in hospital-based EMR implementations.
Lin Chase, Ph.D.
As the European director for SpeechWorks International (later acquired by Nuance Communications), Dr. Chase and her team opened European markets, deploying the first interactive spoken language systems in call centers and telephone networks in the UK, France and Germany. Later, as VP of marketing and partnerships at Rhetorical Systems and founding CEO of NeoSpeech, Inc., she and her teams brought language technologies into enterprise and telecommunications markets into North America and Japan.
Dr. Chase then spent five years as a Senior Executive at Accenture, where she first served as the founding director of the R&D organization in India, then as the co-founder of the Accenture and Cisco Business Group, a joint venture between Accenture and Cisco which focused on the data center and cloud computing for Fortune 500 companies, large governments, and telecommunications network operators.
Dr. Chase earned a B.S. in Physics and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University.
Linda Boles
Linda Boles serves SecondLook as Chief Technical Advisor. She is the Chief Strategist at Cisco Systems, Inc. for their Public Sector Healthcare operation, where she and her team are responsible for working as thought leaders to executives, clinicians, and business units amongst Federal and State & Local healthcare agencies.
Ms. Boles has over 20 years of industry experience in Laboratory Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Radiology, ICU, Labor and Delivery, and Psychiatry. This vast health-related experience is coupled with a solid background in Information Technology including enterprise-wide computing, software and services. She has worked and consulted with Government healthcare organizations such as Department of Defense Military Health System, Health and Human Services, SSA, State Health Departments, Academic Medical Centers and Veterans Hospitals for the past 15 years. She is a member of and sits on Healthcare Working Group Boards for NASCIO, ATA, ACO-CMS, HIMSS, Continua, Institute for E-Health Policy and AHA.
Ms. Boles holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, as well as a Graduate Degree in Cytopathology from the University of Texas Health Science Center & MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas.
